Considering my bedroom walls are painted cream it would be deemed appropriate to do the photoshoot in my house, also this way I am on hand to all resources I may need. My models will include mostly friends and family. My main image will be the same or slightly different to my double page spread and that will be of my cousin, the others are for my contents page and these will be of friends. The image will be of a medium close up like that of many hip hop magazine front covers this then will be followed by almost the same image on the double page spread however this will be a full or close to full body shot. The image of my cousin will have an attitude to then represent the hip hop feel of the magazine as most hip hop magazine covers show a celebrity which has an attitude. The models in my front cover is only 15 however with the make and hair combined with the dress it will be possible to be able to make her look a lot older and therefore give the correct target audience of hip hop magazine covers which is young adults to 28 year olds.

Notice that all these three R&B music covers have in common. They all have plain coloured backgrounds, this then allows them to make the image and text stand out. They also use the medium shot, this then all so leaves room around them for text and therefore the text doesn’t cover them. The clothes used will be out going and stylish to give the impression that one the models used are older and two giving the impression of the sassy stylish model like many R&B models wear and look like. Because the background is white it makes it much easier to pick my colours that I will use. The lighting will be artificial lighting due to the indoor lighting. Here is a mood board of my ideas which will make my final magazine and have given me some ideas in to what I will use. I have researched in to what other R&B magazine use and I will incorporate there ideas in to my own magazine to make it look like any other R&B magazine.
